We Regret To Inform You

Hello everyone,

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to go on with The Goose Girl Movie. Much to our disappointment, we had 2 lead characters quit, and we do not have enough time to recast. Also, after speaking with Shannon Hale's lawyer, who told us that we could not put it on YouTube, we could not sell it, and we cannot submit it to film festivals, we decided that to put all the work and effort and time and money into a movie, we wanted to be able to do things with it. We are very sorry that we cannot continue, we hope you will be able to understand. We will miss you, awesome cast.

Sincerely,

Liz Weaver-Director
and
Alexis Wilson-Assistant Director

  2. Oh no!!!!!!!!!! I love reading The Goose Girl and so today I looked up 'the goose girl movie' and I found this blog! I was so excited, I was like, "AHHHHHHHHHHHH THERE'S A MOVIE!?!?!?!?!?!?" That excitement ended when I read the title of the latest post. After reading the entire thing I thought, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Too bad those actors quit. :'(
